What security and safety system is in place to keep my children safe?
At Little Footprints we take the safety of your children very seriously. We don’t believe in settling for the minimum safety legal requirements, but we choose to go above and beyond for that extra piece of mind. Some of our safety standards include: Safety cameras throughout, double security front doors, no unapproved public access and a stringent recruitment process including a Working with children check, first aid qualification and criminal history check for our educators to name a few.
I’m not sure if my child is ready for child care, I’m concerned they will have separation anxiety. What do you recommend I do?
Studies have shown that the earlier children start child care, the more advanced they become in their education, speech, social skills and all developmental milestones overall. Separation anxiety is a normal process that more than 90% of children will go through either in their infancy or when they go to kindergarten. We believe that it is important to enrol your child as soon as possible, so that when they do go through separation anxiety, they can get all the love and support from our highly qualified staff who specialise in this field. This is a great advantage as compared to kindergarten, there is a shorter teacher to child ratio which means less one-on-one care and support for your child. How do you keep your centre safe from illnesses?
We aim to maintain the health of all children, educators and their families with ensuring a healthy environment, minimising cross contamination and the spread of infectious illnesses. We have gone above and beyond the Health Directives from our regulators on our Infectious disease safety plans which have proven to be highly successful in keeping everyone safe. Effective and thorough hygiene and deep cleaning practices are undertaken multiple times in the day. We also actively work on building your child’s immune system by providing a strategically thought-out, nutritionally balanced diet.
